Am I the only dummy out there. My husband and I have only been married for a year. It's neither of our first. We lived together for almost a year when I caught him accidently sending im's to women. Learned that he had sex with one. (that I know of) I left the screen on packed my bags and left town. He courted me on and off begging me to forgive him. Told me he would give me all his passwords on the computer and could check anytime. Well does it suprise anyone to know he is at it again. I have not confronted him yet. I am making copies of his conversations and you should see the pictures that he gets of women and men. Good grief. Did I mention that we are 54 years old. My question is ifdelity online considered grounds for divorce. I don't have any pictures of him with any of these people just of him sending to them and pictures of them sending to him and lots of conversation wanting to have sex.

Its 3am and I cant sleep due to stress. I just want to say that I am so relieved (and sad) to to see that I am not the only dealing w/ this issue. I only just got maiiried in May 2007!
I am now trying to pick up the pieces and figure out (if possible) if I could ever trust him again. We were married in FL but we live in OH does anyone know which state law I would have to follow if we get divorced? |

Ok, it seems many marriages are being ruined with this on line cheating..including me but if your in a state of no fault where does that leave one ? Nowhere..now if the laws can be changed for "Quick " divorces can't we get together & start fighting back, making it harder to end a marriage after xxx amount of years. Oh, there's a web site" Don't date that man or don't dtae that man girl. It's kinda like a file cabinet with names of " Cheaters"..Post em girl. Oh, screen names can be changed daily forget the password to the pc. Look up deleted names on line with your provider, I did and did my heart sink. So lets get busy and make a LAW for protecting our marriages making it harder..I'm game

Hi, Your just a very trusting person. My soon-to-be ex-husband was signing up for on line dating.I copied his profiles in case I needed them.
On them his status is "Involved" I guess he didn't consider himself married. My councler and lawyer told me on line dating is still considered cheating even if they don't follow though. His excuse was he "was just curious" about it.Signing up for 4 (that I know of) sites.HA! Then I saw his credit card bill 3 months ago and he had signed up for one that was for cyber sex. These men need to grow up! Make sure you have any proof of this in a safe place in case you need it. Good luck to both you ladies. |

I am sorry to hear what is happening to you. I am going through this myself. We even have two little children. I copied all the sex websites I found him on (yes, I started searching) and took them to a lawyer to file a divorce here in Florida. However, Florida does not recognize adultry in this state. I even found out he was into couples, orgies, and so on. However, this does not stop him from being around the children even if he is a pervert. I even explained I found out he did drugs and I had witnesses. However, he might not get residential custody, he is still intitled to have rights o the children. I even proved he took my taxes and switched accounts. I proved I paid in all year and he paid nothing. However, we are married so he is intitle to take it and I get nothing. I feel divorces help those who are perverts, drug atticks, and theifs. At least in Florida. I am intitled to a divorce however and so that is one plus. Just knowing he is not having his sickness in my home.
So my suggestion is to talk to a lawyer and/or find out what your state laws are on divorces. Good luck! | |
